aspect of the Kanazawa of feudal times, showing the picturesque atmosphere
of the wooden lattice fronts of old geisha houses. Much old architecture
is lovingly preserved by the people who live there. Shima Chaya House, an elegant former geisha house, offers tourists a rare chance to view its interior. |
