Muro Saisei (1889-1962), one of Kanazawa's three great writers of literature, loved the Saigawa river dearly and wrote many stories about Kanazawa. Standing at Saisei's birthplace, this museum boasts a large collection of his works, his own handwritten manuscipts, and other articles left by him.
