Prefectural History Museum

  This red brick building, the Prefectural History Museum, is a cultural asset designated by the prefecture.The building was first built as the weapon warehouse for the Japanese Army. It later became Kanazawa College of Art. The building has changed in form since it was built.
  Excavated materials, models, and video programs explaining the history and customs of the Japan Sea Coast are displayed here in a quiet atmosphere.
  You can actually Feel and touch the materials at some of the exhibition booths.

Fee250 yen / Free for under highschool studnts
(Separate fee for special exhibits)
Hours 9:00am-5:00pm (entrance until 4:30pm)
