Located to the south of Kenrokuen Garden and adjacent to the Noh theater, the Honda Museum exhibits military arms, arts, crafts and archaic writings favoured by the Honda Clan which was the greatest of the Maeda family minister advisors. The exhibits add up to about 1000 pieces in all. The "Murasame Tea Jar" also known as the "Tea Jar of 50,000-goku" was awarded by Toshiie Maeda to Masashige, the first master of the Honda Clan, and it is well worth seeing.
