This facility is a reproduction of the Kaga
Federal Government owned workshop built to commemorate 100 years of the
Kanazawa municipal government.
It consists of an exhibition
building for traditional arts and crafts, including ceramics, lacquer
ware, dyeing, and metalworking, a workshop where technical interns work
and study, and a Citizens' Studio where workshops are held for city residents.
In addition, a craft salon and tearoom are open to promote exchange between
citizens and artists. This facility contributes to preserving and developing
traditional arts and crafts, and promoting culture in Kanazawa. |
